Information the app uses
At That Age asks for access to your photo library so it can find photos by date. If you choose to teach the app a child’s face, it also analyzes faces to improve photo matching. Photo lookup and face analysis happen on your iPhone using Apple’s PhotoKit and Vision technologies.
The app does not upload your photos, face data, names, birthdays, or other app data to the developer or to a developer-operated server.
Information stored on your device
The app saves the information it needs to work in its private storage on your device. This can include:
- Children’s names and birthdays
- Optional photo-album selections
- Optional face signatures used for matching
- Photos or faces you have marked as incorrect matches
- Setup and app preferences
This information may be included in a normal iPhone backup or device transfer managed by Apple. Face-analysis caches stay on the device and can be regenerated.
Photos, iCloud, and sharing
If an original photo is stored in iCloud rather than on your phone, Apple’s Photos service may download it when the app needs it. This is handled by Apple and is not an upload to At That Age or its developer.
If you use the app’s sharing features, you choose what to share and where to send it through the iOS share sheet. If you export an .atthatage settings file, it contains names, birthdays, and taught or rejected face signatures, but no photos. You control where that file goes.
Purchases
The optional one-time purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. The developer does not receive your payment details. Apple manages the purchase and entitlement under its own privacy practices.
Analytics and tracking
The app contains no advertising, analytics SDKs, or tracking technology. It does not create an account or use identifiers to follow you across apps or websites.
Children’s privacy
At That Age is made for parents and caregivers. It does not collect children’s information. Any names, birthdays, photos, and face signatures you add remain in the app’s private on-device storage, subject to the backup, export, and sharing choices described above.
Website and support requests
CraigSturgis.com uses Google Analytics on production pages to understand website traffic and usage. Google Analytics may set first-party cookies and collect information such as page visits, session activity, approximate location, and browser or device details. This analytics is separate from the At That Age app and does not receive your family photos, names, birthdays, face signatures, or other app data. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Basic request information may also be processed by the site’s hosting provider to deliver and protect the site. You can limit analytics through your browser’s cookie controls or the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
If you submit the support form, the name, email address, message, and optional device or app-version details you enter are sent through Vercel and Resend and delivered to the developer by email. That information is used only to answer and troubleshoot your request and is kept only as long as reasonably needed for support. Photos and app data are not attached automatically.
Your choices
You can change photo access in iOS Settings, remove children or taught faces in the app, delete exported files, or delete the app and its locally stored data. You can manage or delete device backups through Apple’s settings.
Changes to this policy
If the app’s privacy practices change, this page will be updated and the effective date above will be revised.
